Jumping into the world of travel therapy can be intimidating. But, with the right partner you can safely navigate through new waters. One of the most important questions to ask is “what company should I work with?” This decision can impact the location you end up, the types of jobs you get, and the life you live while traveling.
In four years of working in the industry, I have talked to countless therapists about this topic. Each has their own opinion on what size of company to work with. Here are 4 reasons why you should be working with a large travel company right now.
More eyes looking for jobs. Large firms like Aureus Medical employ hundreds of internal employees dedicated to help you find work. We are all very specialized in our roles, but all work as a team to help find the perfect fit. Recruiters help build your profile, educate you on the market, and talk to you about positions. Account Managers have relationships with facilities and actively find great jobs across the country on a daily basis. With a recruiter and an account manager assigned, you can ensure that you will get the very best jobs!
Better reputation. Generally, large companies will naturally have a bigger pool of clients with which to work. When those facilities get calls from agencies like Aureus Medical, they take our calls and are more likely to work with us knowing our success! Building relationships with hiring managers and caring about their needs, in turn, produce better opportunities for you!
More experience. You have seasoned recruiters and account managers at your disposal. They have had time to tweak their processes to be able to operate on full cylinders to serve you. In addition, that has given them the opportunity to identify trends in the job market. This will ultimately give you an idea of where you should be getting licensed and answer other such questions.
Small company feel. There is a misconception that with a large company, you will be treated as a number. Not so fast! As outlined above, you will have a recruiter that will invest a great deal of time to get to know you and your goals. With that, each recruiter carefully manages their desk to maximize your success and theirs. You feed off of each other. Your success is their success and vice versa.
